REFERENCE: John Campbell

John has worked with the students from Lakeside School, Gateshead, over the past three months in circus skills workshops. The objective is to develop individual skills eg juggling, clowning and acrobatics, in preparation for the presentation of an item at a regional concert for Special Schools.

The students of Lakeside have a range of disabilities from severe to mild intellectual disability, autism, emotional/behavioural disorders and physical disabilities. John has worked effectively with the students and has developed a positive relationship with all students. He has an un-intrusive style and approaches the children with both empathy and firmness.

John has also helped staff to develop our presentation and his overall contribution has provided the students with a professional and enjoyable act for their concert. I have no hesitation in recommending john to work with students with special needs.
